Osteoarticular pathology is one of the most frequent among the elderly and especially among women. In fact, in Spain, more than 7 million people suffer from osteopenia or osteoporosis, and there are more than 14 million people affected by osteoarthritis.
Early Diagnosis and Prevention
Promoting Early Diagnosis and Prevention is fundamental, since these are diseases that run silently for a long time, they may be discovered late and have already produced irreparable lesions. The sooner it is detected, the sooner we can treat it, prevent its evolution and maintain the quality of life.
“Take care of your mother because she’s not going to take care of herself.”
From OAFI and AECOSAR, with the collaboration of the Fundación MEDAC, we promote the next June 3, coinciding with the World Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day, the action “Take care of your mother because she is not going to take care of herself”, so that you can come and have a complete study of your joint health. It is a solidarity action and free of charge, both in the morning and in the afternoon.
Book your visit by clicking on this link or by coming directly to Fundación MEDAC at Avda. de la Reguera nº 7 in Móstoles (Madrid).
We will perform densitometry, impedance studies of body composition, analysis of risk factors, monitoring of painful areas, female symptomatology and training to improve self-care.
We thank UCB and Amgen that collaborate with the campaign “Early Diagnosis and Prevention in Osteoarticular Health”.
