CIM Project and the OAFI Foundation sign a collaboration agreement to promote the prevention, treatment and improvement of the quality of life of people with osteoarticular problems, especially fibromyalgia.
A spectacular project with an unstoppable team
CIM PROJECT is a non-profit organisation driven by club monitors, sports technicians of mountain activities, professionals of physical activity and sport and health personnel, who work together to promote the development and practice of physical activity and sport, an unstoppable team oriented to the inclusion of people with disabilities, functional diversity, chronicity or in the ageing process, as well as different groups at risk of social exclusion, such as migrants, people with low economic resources, cultural, linguistic, ethnic diversity, etc. for prevention, health promotion and therapeutic intervention in the field of nature and the mountains.
Common goals
who, like us, work and fight to improve the lives of many people and who, with their actions, try to improve our society. Thus, the two non-profit associations seek and have common goals in these tasks.
That is why, together, we have set ourselves some objectives to work together, such as:
Promote the prevention, treatment and improvement of the quality of life of people with osteoarticular problems, especially fibromyalgia, promoting the application of therapies based on Pain Science Education (PSE) to patients, among others, and the practice of physical activity in nature in people with functional diversity or disability, ill”.
Collaborate in the study, development and implementation of research projects in areas of mutual interest for both parties in the field of health, especially those that may be linked to chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, study of muscle, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, chronic inflammation and nutrition.
Both entities will promote social awareness campaigns for prevention and treatment in areas of mutual interest, as well as social programmes aimed at prevention and education for patients and at-risk groups.
