OAFI attended the 27th International Conference on Sports Rehabilitation and Traumatology, organised by Isokinetic Medical Group which took place at the Camp Nou in Barcelona from June 2 to 4 June 2018. More than 3.000 attendees, international experts in football medicine and sports medicine gathered to share their knowledge and experiences.

Dr. Villalón, Head of Medical Services at Cub Atlético de Madrid and member of the OAFI Scientific Committee, highlighted that according to UEFA records, more and more muscle and osteoarticular injuries occur among professional footballer players.

OAFI (OsteoArthritis Foundation International) has designed specific programmes for the safe practice of sports: OAFI Sport, OAFI Sport Veterans and OAFI SportChildren, which focus on prevention and treatment to ensure that sport is practised in a healthy way. Sport YES, injuries NO.
