The Art NorWalking program, finalist in the V INDESCAT Business and Sports Awards

• OAFI and Caminoterapia offer healthy companies to train their workers in joint health and Nordic walking

The Art Norwalking program, a collaborative program between the OAFI Foundation and the Caminoterapia Foundation to promote research on the benefits of Nordic walking in osteoarthritis and to carry out training programs in joint health for companies, has been finalist of the INDESCAT Business and Sport Award in the category of partnership.

Art Norwalking is a program that combines theoretical sessions on how to take care of our joint health at work through nutrition, good postural habits and the practice of a physical activity such as Nordic walking. A modality of walking with sticks that moves up to 90% of the musculature and allows the joints to become more flexible.

The practice of Nordic walking in the workplace improves the relationship between workers and encourages teamwork, as well as reducing sick leave.

The award went to the Coach Studio platform, a collaboration between Paited Apps SL and the Catalan Basketball Federation.
